MOHAMMED YAQOOB AL HASHEMI - VICE CHAIRMAN – OPERATIONS
A professional civil engineer, holder of Master degree in Engineering, Mohammad Al Hashemi, U.A.E. national, has worked his way up, initially employed by Jabel Ali Free Zone to being one of the most successful entrepreneurs involved with various Contracting Projects including Hotels, High Rise Buildings, Hospitals and their respective Infrastructures.
As a Vice Chairman, Mohammad Al Hashemi has lent the Holding his invaluable knowledge and varied experience in the industrial construction, weather it is commercial, residential or industrial project.
MURTAZA ALI PANJWANI – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Originally from Tanzania, Murtaza Ali hails from the United Kingdom where he was brought up and educated. Having established several Businesses in London, he arrived in the U.A.E in the summer of 1997 where he joined hands and merged with Dr. Ghassan forming a much bigger Al Sondos Holding.
Murtaza Ali believes that every job is a self-portrait of the person who carried it out -”So, autograph your work with excellence”, he advises. A Mechanical Engineer by qualification, he is in charge of diversifying of Al Sondos Holding ventures and expansion of existing businesses.
V.C.DURAI – CHIEF FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Being Chartered accountant as well as cost accountant, V.C.Durai has a strong industrial experience in financial management, investment banking and construction funding. In his current position, Mr. Durai is fully responsible for the group companies` accounts and overviews operational aspects of the core business, comprehensive approach towards funds management and project analysis for better prospects.
MAHENDRA SHAKIYA – CHIEF ENGINEER
Mahendra Shakiya oversees every aspect of the construction and development process by working closely with consultants and contractors in support of the company`s vision and department goals. Over the past twenty years, his vast experience has included retail, office, and mixed-use; but his particular area of expertise is in luxury residential apartments development.
